Delight Atlas
The Delight Atlas is where we turn research into playful, real-world adventures!
Each edition explores a different theme to discover how Delight takes shape in everyday moments — today through design and art… tomorrow, who knows? Food? Music? Cities?
Explore what we’ve found so far!

Launched in 2023, the Delight Atlas is an ongoing exploration that tracks real-world expressions of delight across fields like design, art, architecture—and beyond.
From a multisensory installation at Milan Design Week to a poetic exhibit in Venice, we’re on the lookout for moments that spark emotion, wonder, and meaning.

Each edition of the Delight Atlas focuses on a specific event or cultural context.
Our Delight Agents scout and analyze experiences through the lens of Delightism—looking at how delight is generated, what type it is, and which techniques bring it to life.

We use a shared framework of analysis, including:
Delight Type
These are the core dimensions where Delight lives: mental, physical, aspirational, and relational.
DE Category
Delightful Experiences can be divided into 9 categories, each containing examples of experiences that share similar mechanics and characteristics.
Source of Delight
Source of Delight refers to where the perception of delight originates. Whether from the context or environment, the product itself, or a combination of both.
Applied Techniques
A series of techniques that are used to enhance the value of the exhibitions by creating memorable and engaging experiences.
…and more
Where will we go next?
So far, we’ve explored design weeks and biennales. But delight lives everywhere: music, food, games, daily life.
