DELIGHT MANIFESTO

We are a team of designers, researchers, creative technologists and entrepreneurs intrigued by the potential to enhance the quality of life through Delight.

Beyond utilitarian, aesthetic, communication, or survival drivers that lead the current development of our material (and immaterial) world, we are looking at Delight as a universal driver and value for designing memorable and outstanding experiences.

Delight is a positive emotional status that marks the peak of a given experience, whose intensity, consistency and meaning determine its ranking on a delightedness scale.

Delight is good: for people but also for the design business.

Delight is the ultimate goal of any experience, both human or natural or artificially made.

Delight, like beauty, has a universal origin that everyone can easily recognize but which is challenging to decipher and explain.

Delight results from the intertwining and synchronizing personal motivations, values, sensorial input, and emotional response.
